Koha 23.05: Modify Patrons in Batch Directly from Patron Search Results

An exciting new enhancement coming in the 23.05 upgrade deals specifically with the ability for staff to make changes to patron accounts in batch, straight from the patron search results page. It is no longer necessary to make changes to patron accounts one by one, as bug 28366 makes batch patron modification a snap!
After completing a patron search in Koha, staff will be able to select patrons from the search results by checking the boxes to the left of the results, and perform a batch patron modification using the new button in the gray action button bar above, as long as they have the enable_patrons permission enabled.
After clicking the batch patron modification button, patron information fields appear where new information can be entered, including first and last name, library, patron category, address, phone, expiry date, notes, and more. Staff can also check the box to the right of the label, which will disable the entry and delete the values in that field on all selected patrons.
