Using the Patron Card Creator Tool

We have created this tutorial video to highlight the set up and use of the patron card creator in Koha. The set up of this tool is very similar to the Koha Label Creator.

Create a patron card creator template:

This is the size of the sheet of paper and the specific dimensions of each card that will be printed on.

Create a patron card creator layout:

This is what your library would like printed on the actual card for the patron. This can include up to 3 lines of text, barcode of patron, card number, and an image.

Create a batch of patrons to use in the card creator:

The library can choose to add individual patron borrower numbers to a text box provided, search in the database for the patron’s name or add patrons from a list in Koha.
